WEA-Sammamish Council Board Operating Principles

 

     Members will:

 

v    Buy into and practice operating procedures, principles and practices

v    Set goals annually and routinely review them

v    Take responsibility for the accomplishing goals of the council

v    Honor decisions made by the Council

v    Bring issues to the council and work toward consensus.

v    Celebrate successes large and small while learning from our mistakes.

v    Show respect and value for others in what we say and do.

v    Provide open, honest and accurate information

v    Disagree with ideas and issues but refrain from criticizing people

v    Seek to explore all viewpoints

v    Begin and end meetings on time and honor agenda

v    Attend meetings regularly

v    Act in a positive and constructive manner
