WEA Clock Hour and Equity (CCDEI) designation process

WEA Clock Hour and Equity (CCDEI) designation process

WEA is a Washington state approved clock hour provider. WEA's clock hour committee is composed of WEA members who review and approve clock hour courses and instructors, helping to ensure that WEA offers the highest quality professional learning. Interested in offering a course for clock hours? Find guidance in this email and attached.  WEA is also able to provide coursework meeting the equity-based school practices certificate renewal requirement, aligned to the cultural competency, diversity, equity, and inclusion (CCDEI) standards.

Find the clock hour course proposal form here: PD Network Dashboard (washingtonea.org)

Find the equity-based school practices (CCDEI) proposal form here. To meet this requirement, courses must be recommended by the CCDEI committee and approved by the clock hour committee. Please submit your proposal to both committees.

Submission deadlines: Clock hour and equity submission deadlines are only once per month, so you will need to plan ahead. If you do not submit a proposal by one of these deadlines, the committees will review your proposal the following month.

You will be notified within two weeks of submitting your proposal.
