Elizabeth Premo, UniServ Representative 425-440-6152 Issaquah EA and Mercer Island EA Elizabeth is a third generation unionist and the daughter of public school teachers. She is passionate about ensuring public school employees are treated with dignity, respect and have a collective voice in their workplace. Shortly after graduating from the University of Central Florida, she started her career in education as a paraprofessional in a Pre-K VE classroom. Since 2008, Elizabeth has worked as a UniServ Director and has represented members in various size locals, including the 8th largest district in the nation. In her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing, yoga, paddleboarding/kayaking, photography, and exploring nature with her labradoodle, Bougain. |

Michael Ruiz, UniServ Representative 425-440-6161 Bellevue EA and Tahoma EA Michael was a former Sammamish Council Lake Washington ESP member for five years, where he worked at Support Services and Rosa Parks Elementary in the Lake Washington School District. He participated in the NEA Intern Program for Women and Ethnic Minorities in 2011. He was a Field Representative for SEIU Local 1948 - Public School Employees for three years before coming back to the Sammamish Council. He has been a UniServ Representative since August 2016. Michael received his B.A. from Western Washington University and A.A. from Bellevue College. When he is not working he enjoys time with his family, friends, and traveling. |

Katie Bishop, UniServ Respresentative 425-440-6146 Katie started her career working in Las Vegas for local political candidates and then joined the educator’s union in Las Vegas. She then joined WEA as an organizer in 2013 and began her career as Uniserv Director in 2016. Katie spent a year and a half working with the Virginia Education Association as they repealed the 44-year ban on collective bargaining. In Virginia, Katie helped design and implement the Organizing to Bargain Campaign, supporting multiple locals in their fight to win back their right to bargain. She is happy to be back in Washington state. Katie has her B.A. from Roanoke College and completed the Leadership Organizing and Action course at Harvard University. Charlotte Cole, Field Assistant 425-440-6151 Prior to coming to the Sammamish Council in 2006, Charlotte was a proud union member of LWESP (Rose Hill Elementary) and SEIU (Ben Rush Elementary) in the Lake Washington School District. Her four children are also products of Lake Washington. Her passions are her five grandchildren, family, traveling, journaling, crafting, and reading. Being a life-long learner is also important! |

Amy Moszeter, Field Assistant 425-440-6150 Amy joined the Sammamish Council team in December 2018. She came from the Snoqualmie Valley school district. She was a secretary, an active union member serving on the bargaining team for SVASA. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, playing & coaching volleyball, camping, reading, puzzles, and all things Disney. |
